Sports Illustrated  praises today’s sports and athletes and has been doing so for over 80 years. Fundamentally, the house style is the characterization of a magazine brand. It assembles all the elements it is known for: the genre, the atmosphere, the caliber of emotion put into text, and the style a group of people associates it with. Without a house style, the audience would have no way of knowing what they like, making it akin to shopping for shoes and all the shoes looking identically the same. A magazine must define itself in a subtle and bold way. This style will remain consistent for years to come, transmuting only marginally to magnetize incipient audiences and retain older ones. A house style should come to life when a potential subscriber walks past it while in the check-out line. The first impression of a house style determines if it sells or flunks. x The Table of contents was mirrored from one of the highest praised magazine's in the world, Money Magazine. Money Magazine has an issue where they used a border around the main background color, I resembled this while adding a gold background and a texture to the background. This was not only for it to fit the magazine's genre but also for a unique trait to the magazine. Furthermore, Money Magazine also uses a large image to represent "Money", in this case, a clip art. In order to further exemplify a unique trait of Flip Dinero, I made these symbols cars. This is because it shows high value and a design like no other. Moreover, The large numbers attract the reader's attention as they standout by the white. I decided to make the title of the page reflect for another unique trait of having a complete spread table of contents. This illustrates a larger and more complex magazine when it comes to business and money.

Dissecting typography, images, unity, and colors while constructing a mood board! "Reflective project analyzing the millennial 'American Woman'!" “American Woman” contextualizes the stereotypical millennial female; while concurrently depicting the thought-provoking, experimental and impetuous mindset in today's youth. The contrast and divergence in color lure the reader; an exuberant scarlet red, embellished by the canary yellow, eclipsing the retro black, accentuates on the symbolization of time. A strategic choice of color juxtaposing the more classical era and twenty-first century’s perpetual exploratory psychology. The disunity of dynamic colors on the right, correlated to a more feeble palette on the left reinstates the evident partition between time.
